Overview
Choi Implanter pen is not a hair transplantation technique, it is a device using during the hair transplantation operations. Choi Implanter device looks like a pen and because of this we are calling it “Choi pen”. The procedure using choi pen during the implantation phase calls Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) or Implanter Pen FUE. Choi pen eliminates channel incision phase. It enables us to implant the folicules directly into the recipient areas without the need to create channel incisions first.
Choi pen has a 0.5-1.5mm hollow needle on its end and follicles extracted from the donor area loading into this hollow needle by using forceps. After that surgeon inserts the needle at an accurate angle of 40-45 degrees into the scalp and implants the follicles one by one.
